October 26, 2005 regular village board meeting
Village of Wonewoc Proceeding of regular Village Board meeting October 26, 2005.
The meeting was called to order pursuant to the posted and published notice. The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm. The following trustees present for meeting: Field, Norling, Jennings, Roehling, Miller, and Decot. Absent: Ott.
Motion by Jennings, seconded by Norling to approve the bills and vouchers for the month of October. Motion carried.
Motion by Jennings, seconded by Roehling to approve the minutes of the September 28, 2005 board meeting. Motion carried.
Police Report—None
Agenda:
1. Motion by Jennings, seconded by Norling to change the date for the November meeting to November 30. Motion carried.
2. Attorney Roy told the Board that the Village has received a claim from Attorney William J. Rameker, Trustee for Raymond Frank and Shirley Marie Manguilli.
3. Motion by Field, seconded by Miller to purchase a 60’ x 120’ liner and have the area at Southtown Park leveled for the ice rink at a cost of $2,200. Motion carried.
4. Motion by Miller, seconded by Jennings to grant an Operator License to Melissa M. Lennox and to deny an Operator License to Donna K. Jerry. Motion carried. 5. Discussion regarding ordinance for outdoor wood furnaces. Motion by Field,
seconded by Miller to have Attorney Roy draft an ordinance on outdoor wood furnaces. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
1. Brian Byington thought the Village needed to look into some type of ordinance regarding smells/odors in the Village. This is a health/nuisance issue.

Communication/Announcements:
1. Bohn reported the Water Towner inspection and cleaning went very well. There are no code violations and a few minor repairs that need to be made.
2. Field stated that costs for maintenance of well and pump house need to be put in the 2006 Budget for the Water Department.
3. Reeder announced the Finance Committee will meet Monday, 5:00pm to work on the budget.
4. Reeder also asked Board Members to remind Village residents that they must register to vote before they can vote in any elections after January 1, 2006.
Motion by Jennings, seconded by Norling to adjourn at 8:30pm. Motion carried.
