VILLAGE OF WONEWOC
Proceedings of regular Village Board meeting March 26, 2008.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm. pursuant to the posted and published notice. Roll Call: Field, Norling, K. Jennings, Roehling, Miller, S. Jennings.
Bills and Vouchers: S. Jennings/Rohling - Approved Minutes of Previous Meeting: Field/Norling - Approved Police Report given by Chief Ott Finance Report given by Clerk/Treasurer Kucher
1. Appoint Ellen Byington as Wonewoc representative to the Hill Country Chamber of Commerce. K. Jennings/Roehling - Approved
2. Purchase Ferris IS3100Z ZTR Commerical Mower, 61 mower deck, 32 hp. Briggs & Stratton Big Block engine for $9,250.00 minus trade in value of Great Dane. Norling/Roehling. Roll vote: Field yes, Norling yes, Roehling yes, Miller yes, S. Jennings yes, K. Jennings yes. Approved.
3. Authorize Jim Bohn to sign the DNR Request to Up-date Groundwater Monitoring Program, License #164. Field/Miller - Approved
4. Recommended wage ranges for the 2008 Swimming Pool are as follows: Life Guard/Pool Mgr - $11.00 Life Guard - $8.75 to $9.50 Basket Person - $6.50 (Returning emps are eligible for .10 increase)
S. Jennings/Norling - approved 5. Recommended a FREE 2008 Spring Clean Up. Dates to be May 8-9 (Thursday/Friday)
9:00am to 6:00pm and May 10 (Saturday) 7:00am to 11:00am. Norling/Field - approved
6. Issue the following new liquor licenses:
Class B Beer License (Consumption on-premise only)
Carol Schoonveld d/b/a Old BlueS Pizzeria
Field/S. Jennings - approved
Class B Beer License and Class C Wine License (Consumption on-premise only)
Jeremiah Jone d/b/a Old Mill Canoe & Bike Application not received no vote
Class B Liquor License
Brian Byington d/b/a Byington Land LLC
S. Jennings/Miller - approved
7. Close Bridge Street and Center Street from intersection with N. East Street to intersection with Gordon Street, and Washington Street from intersection with Center Street to intersection with West Street on Saturday, May 17, 2008 for Old Fashion Day. Field/Roehling - approved
8. Recommend the presented amendments to ordinance 8.01.05 (parking). S. Jennings/Norling approved (Publish in newspaper for one week)
9. Approve Jim Bohn attendance at the WRWA 20th Annual Techical Conference. S. Jennings/Field - approved
10. Revise the Pine Eden rules relating to the placement of memorial (flowers etc) arrangements as presented with a March 26, 2008 effective date. S. Jennings/Roehling Roll Call Vote: Field no, Norling no, Roehling yes, Miller no, S. Jennings yes, K. Jennings yes. Tie vote motion denied
Motion to Reconsider: Revise the Pine Eden rules relating to the placement of memorial (flowers, etc.) arrangements as presented with a June 2, 2008 effective date. Field/Norling Roll Call Vote: Field yes, Norling yes, Roehling yes, Miller yes, S. Jennings yes, K. Jennings yes. Approved
11. Recommend a $15.00 per meeting wage rate for the community at large members of Planning Commission. Field/S. Jennings. Approved
12. Recommend the following method of identifying which elected trustee is assigned to the one year term: Two Year Term: three highest voter getters. One Year Term: fourth highest vote getter. Field/K. Jennings. Approve
13. Allow the Wonewoc-Center School District to use the swimming pool for summer lessons.

14. Close Washington Street from Center to N. East Street on Thursday, June 19, 2008 for the Wonewoc Trading Company consignment auction from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Field/S. Jennings - Approved
