Proceedings of regular Village Board meeting June 22, 2011
MINUTES
Roll Call: Rick Field, Nick Baldwin, Randall Norling, Sherry Lankey, Brian Byington, Scott Jennings, Kevin Jennings
Bills and Vouchers – Motion by S. Jennings to accept, 2nd by Baldwin – passed unanimously
Minutes of Previous Meeting – Motion by Field to accept, with roll call change to include Norling, 2nd by Lankey – passed unanimously.
1. Motion to approve #2 thru #7 by Norling, 2nd by Field – passed unanimously.
2. Discuss and possibly take action to authorize a Class “A” Beer License for:
a. Hillsboro Farmers Co-Operative Warehouse d/b/a/ Wonewoc Fastrip
b. Darrell Becker d/b/a: J & S Grocery.
3. Discuss and possibly take action to authorize “Class A” Liquor License
a. Darrell Becker d/b/a J & S Grocery
4. Discuss and possibly take action to authorize “Class B” Beer and Liquor License for:
a. Bernice M. Bronk d/b/a Bernie’s Wagon Wheel II
b. Spencer Allen Degner d/b/a Degner’s Corner Bar
c. Ernie’s Wooden Shoe LLC d/b/a Ernie’s Wooden Shoe
d. Joanne Marie Mayer d/b/a The “Mayer’s” Office
e. Clark-Gurgel American Legion Post 206
f. Brian Byington d/b/a Byington Land LLC
5. Discuss and possibly take action to authorize Class “B” Beer License for:
a. Carol Schoonveld d/b/a Old Blue’s Pizzeria
6. Discuss and possibly take action to authorize a Cigarette License for:
a. Hillsboro Farmers Co-Operative Warehouse d/b/a Wonewoc Fastrip
b. Spencer Allen Degner d/b/a Degner’s Corner Bar
c. Ernie’s Wooden Shoe LLC d/b/a Ernie’s Wooden Shoe

7. Discuss and possibly take action authorize Operator Licenses for:

8. Motion by Lankey to transfer $25,000 from the Sewer Fund to a One Year Certificate of Deposit at State Bank of Cazenovia, to be added to the Sewer Replacement Fund, 2nd by S. Jennings – passed unanimously.
9. Motion by Baldwin, to purchase a new sander chain for the Streets Dept truck, 2nd by Byington – passed unanimously
10. Motion by Field to write-off Pacific Rim Capital 2010 Personal Property Tax of $9.86. (ice cream freezers at Fastrip - sold on 6-30-2009), 2nd by S. Jennings - passed unanimously
11. Motion by S. Jennings to hire additional lifeguards at swimming pool…Marissa Clark, Brooke Stanek, Jacob Stockwell and Kelley Janechek, 2nd by Field – passed unanimously
12. Motion by S. Jennings to go into closed session to review personal information, pursuant to WSA 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, 2nd by Field – passed unanimously.

Minutes
Roll Call: Rick Field, Nick Baldwin, Randall Norling, Sherry Lankey, Brian Byington, Scott Jennings, Kevin Jennings
Motion by K. Jennings to offer the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Water System Operator position to Shane Huebel, 2nd by Field – passed by unanimous ballot
Motion by K. Jennings to offer the Wastewater & Water System certificate options with respective $1.00/hr increase per certificate achieved and maintained, to Don Huebel and Dan Fry, 2nd by Field – passed unanimously
Motion by Norling to increase the wages of the Full Time & Part Time village employees by .30/hr effective 7-18-11, 2nd by S. Jennings – passed unanimously
