When will web page be up? When will “Welcome to Wonewoc” sign be put back along Highway 33 South? What is the Village doing about TABOR? He believes the Village is not planning for the future.

Morgan Corning requested her property on Carter Street be re-zoned from residential to agricultural, or commercial, whatever is needed for her to keep her horses. When she purchased the property, the previous owner had a horse and the property has a 5 stall barn on it. President Decot said he would pass this request on to legal council to determine what the zoning should be. The Village will contact her when it is determined what zoning she should request.
Communication/Announcements:
1. Jim Bohn reported that there are 6 to 7 volleyball teams signed up to play during the Wonewoc Celebration. They would like to mow the grass down very short and wet it for playing. The Fire Department will be responsible for seeding the area and watering it so that grass will be grown back by the time soccer teams want to play on the grass.
2. Field addressed the issue of employee health and safety. Reeder told him weekly safety meeting will be starting either this Friday or Monday.
3. Norling discussed the need or no need for shelters at various parks around the Village.
4. Reeder stated that brush/grass clipping pick-up through out the Village is getting out of hand. The residents expect this stuff to be picked up daily and many expect Dan Fry to pick up their grass clippings and brush several times a day. Dan will be picking up brush and grass clippings every other Thursday.
5. Reeder reported that many residents will be receiving a refund of sales tax that was incorrectly charged and paid during the winter months from 2000 through 2004. The refund will be on their next utility bill.
6. There will be a public hearing regarding the Water Tower in the next month. Each board member was asked to give Rick Field a date that would work for them before the next board meeting.
Motion by Norling, seconded by Roehling to adjourn at 8:30pm. Motion carried.
