NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF THE
VILLAGE OF WONEWOC
Proceedings of regular Village Board meeting January 27, 2010.
Minutes
Roll Call: Rick Field, Nick Baldwin, Dennis Laubscher, Sherry Lankey, Brian Byington,
Scott Jennings, Kevin Jennings.
Bills and Vouchers: Motion by S. Jennings, 2nd Byington – passed unanimously
Minutes of Previous Meeting: Motion by Field, 2nd Baldwin – passed unanimously
1. Discussion on 2004 Library Building resolution: Board recommended an Advisory Referenda be placed on the February agenda for the Spring Election.
2. Sign the contract of Deena Griffin as the Village of Wonewoc assessor to conduct the annual maintenance assessment for $3,000. Motion by Lankey, 2nd S. Jennings – passed unanimously
3. Approve VIG & Associates to perform compilation services for the Village of Wonewoc governmental and fiduciary funds, electric & water utilities & the sewer fund. Motion by S. Jennings, 2nd Field – passed unanimously
4. Sign Petition for County Aid for Highway Road Construction i.e. Matching Funds. Motion by Lankey, 2nd Byington – passed unanimously
5. Close Bridge Street and Center Street from intersection with N. East Street to intersection with Gordon Street, and Washington Street from intersection with Center Street to intersection with West Street, and to allow open intoxicants off premises on the 100 and 200 blocks of Center Street during the Old Fashioned Day Celebration on May 15, 2010 from the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm contrary to current Village ordinance. Motion by Lankey, 2nd Baldwin – passed unanimously
6. Sell village snow plow that is no longer used,as is, for $1,000: Motion by Field, 2nd Baldwin – passed unanimously
7. Purchase a new computer for the Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer: Motion by Lankey, 2nd Baldwin – passed unanimously
8. Motion to adjourn by S. Jennings, 2nd Byington – passed unanimously at 8:23pm
