December 28, 2005 regular village board meeting
Village of Wonewoc Proceeding of regular Village Board meeting December 28, 2005.
The meeting was called to order pursuant to the posted and published notice. The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm. The following trustees present for meeting: Field, Norling, Jennings, Roehling, Miller, Ott and Decot.
Motion by Norling, seconded by Jennings to approve the bills and vouchers for the month of December. Motion carried.
Motion by Roehling, seconded by Field to approve the minutes of the November 30, 2005 board meeting with the striking of “and limit use of wood furnace to November 1 through April 1” from Item #7. Motion carried.

November had 55 calls for service. Numerous referrals to court Arrests on bulgury cases
Agenda:
1. Motion by Field, seconded by Roehling to adopt Ordinance regarding the purchase/possession of cigarettes or tobacco products by a person under the age of 18. Motion carried.
2. Motion by Field, second by Ott to get bids for rehabbing Well #2, install valves and hydrants near Wonewoc-Center School. After bids are received the Village will then apply for a loan for these repairs that will also include re-roofing Well House #2 and put concrete reinforcement at base of water reservoir. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
1. Gilbert Licht addressed the Board. He feels Fry and Hubele do a good job for the Village and should receive a wage increase. He believes parents should have the responsibility of controlling their children on smoking issues. He also believes the police should be more visible.
Communication/Announcements:
1. Village employees have tried to flood the tennis court for an ice rink this winter. However, it is not working. Water is still flowing to the creek no matter how cold it has been.
2. The drop box for utility and property tax payments has arrived. It needs to be installed.
Motion by Jennings, seconded by Roehling to adjourn at 7:34pm. Motion carried.
