VILLAGE OF WONEWOC
Proceedings of regular Village Board meeting April 23, 2008.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm. pursuant to the posted and
published notice. Roll Call: Field, Norling, Laubscher, Roehling,
Byington, S. Jennings, K. Jennings
Bills and Vouchers: Field/S. Jennings - Approved Minutes of Previous
Meeting: Norling/Field - Approved Police Report given by Scott
Jennings, Police Committee Chairman in Chief Ott’s absence Finance
Report given by Clerk/Treasurer Kucher
Oath of Offices – Kevin Jennings, Sherry Roehling, Scott Jennings,
Brian Byington and Dennis Laubscher were given by Lee Kucher,
Clerk/Treasurer
1.	Approve Letter of Resolution designating the Baraboo National Bank,
Wonewoc Branch as the Village’s Public Depository. Norling/Field -
approved
2.	Appoint Steven Roy, LaRowe, Gerlach & Roy SC as the Village
Attorney. Field/S. Jennings - Approved
3.	Appoint Michelle Masters N.P. as Village Health Officer. S.
Jennings/Norling – Approved.
4.	Designate “The Messenger of Juneau County” as the Official
Newspaper of Public Notices of the Village. Field/Norling – 6 Yes, 1
No - Approved
5.	Appoint new committee members for the 2008/2009 term. Electric:
Brian Byington; K. Jennings/S. Jennings – approved Library: Scott
Jennings; K. Jennings/Norling – approved Swimming Pool: Dennis
Laubscher; K. Jennings/Roehling – approved Finanace: Kevin Jennings;
K. Jennings/Roehling – approved Planning Commission: Brian Byington;
K. Jennings/Norling - approved
6.	Set dates for: Open Book:	May 29, 2008 4:00pm to 6:00pm b Board of
Review: June 17, 2008 4:00pm to 6:00pm K. Jennings/Roehling –
approved
Appoint Field & Roehling as members of the Board of Review with
Norling as alternate member – K. Jennings/Field – approved
7.	Declare Dennis Laubscher as the newly elected Trustee for the one
year term. K. Jennings/Roehling - approved
8.	Reject all bids for the Pine Eden mowing and trimming for the 2008
growing season. Village employees will handle. Field/Roehling – 6 yes,
1 abstain
9.	Appoint Tammy Howe as a new member at large for the Planning
Commission. K. Jennings/Norling - approved
10. Authorize Attorney Roy to change the handicap parking ordinance on
the south side of
Gordon Street next to Bernie’s to include parking spots #2 and #3.
(Parking spot #1 is already van assessible handicap parking).
Roehling/Byington - approved
11. Approve the clerk/treasure to advertise for sealed bids for 2008
sidewalk repair project. Field/S. Jennings - approved
12. Table any action to contract a village Building Inspector. K.

13. Accept the bid of $2,750 from Steve Lindsey for the old police
car. S. Jennings/K. Jenings – approved
Reject all bids for the S10 Pickup. K. Jennings/Norling - approved
14. Allow open intoxicants off premises on the 100 and 200 blocks of
Center Street during the Old Fashioned Day Celebration on May 17, 2008
from the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm contrary to current Village
ordinance. Field/S. Jennings - approved
15. Grant operators licenses to Carol Schoonveld and Pat Ronnfeldt. K.
Jennings/Roehling - approved
16. Tabled approval on the Hill Street Ditch Project until new updated
quotes are received. Field/Roehling – approved
