Wonewoc borders Sauk County and is the most southern village in Juneau County. It is located in an un-glaciated area in Wisconsin and is enhanced by a spectacular and unique countryside with many rocky bluffs and pine trees.  The scenic village parks offer many varied recreational activities for both adults and children year-round. Wonewoc boasts good schools, churches, clubs, organizations, and a public library.  We are a friendly village, and we are sure you will enjoy your stay. Upcoming Events:
12th Annual Wonewoc Old Fashioned Day Saturday May 17th. One of the area's largest antique and classic auto shows, parade, crafts, games, food vendors, pony rides, antique and coin appraisals, music, pancake breakfast and lots of fun!

Wonewoc is the midpoint of the 400 State Trail. The 400 State Trail is one of Wisconsin's newest recreational bicycle trails. The 400 State Trail is part of the 101 mile State Trail System.
